About the film
A Mexican American struggling with her father’s deportation, forms an unlikely friendship with an elderly Pakistani immigrant who owns a flower shop. They don’t speak the same language, but their bond strengthens through small acts of kindess. When he suddenly disappears, she embarks on a mission to find her friend.

Shahzeb, is a filmmaker, storyteller, and educator based in Pakistan with a passion for shaping the future of the film and media industry. Inspired by his own experiences, he has not only worked as a filmmaker but also dedicated himself to mentoring and teaching, creating impactful educational programs. For Shahzeb, filmmaking is more than just creating stories, it’s about building systems that support the success of filmmakers.
